Jason Nutter A.K.A. J- Bird
With over a decade of dedicated service within the community and Coachella valley schools, Jason has built a reputation for creating dynamic, inclusive learning environments that empower students through the art of music Specializing in courses designed to enhance self-confidence, collaboration, and communication, Jason integrates public speaking, group building, and performance skills to help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Drawing on a rich background in music education, he teaches foundational musical concepts such as rhythm, tempo, timing, and chord structure, while also guiding students through the creative process of songwriting and composition. Through a blend of concentration techniques, meditation practices, and hands-on musical exploration, students gain not only technical proficiency but also emotional resilience and a strong sense of self.
Whether leading a classroom discussion, conducting a rehearsal, or organizing a public performance, Jason is committed to nurturing each student’s potential and fostering a lifelong appreciation for music, learning, creativity, and community
